Information for Patients from Out of Town

Finding Your Way to the Tampa office:
Fletcher Medical Center (3000 East Fletcher Avenue) is at the corner of Fletcher Avenue and Bruce B. Downs Boulevard (30th Street), just west of University Community Hospital and exactly 17.4 miles from the Tampa International Airport terminal. Despite the address, Fletcher Medical Center (FMC) has no access to Fletcher Avenue. Gain entry to our parking lot via either Bruce B. Downs Boulevard or the small road that runs north-south between FMC and University Community Hospital.

From South Tampa, Clearwater, St. Petersburg and Tampa International Airport, take Interstate 275 north to the Fletcher Avenue Exit (Exit 52), then east 1.7 miles to Bruce B. Downs Boulevard (30th Street). Again, there is no access from Fletcher Avenue, so turn left (north) on Bruce B. Downs Boulevard (30th Street), then an immediate right into Fletcher Medical Center.

The entry to FMC is on Bruce B. Downs Boulevard.
Coming from I-275, get into the right one of the two left turn lanes so that you can take a quick right into FMC where indicated by the arrow.

 

From New Tampa (Tampa Palms and the other communities along Bruce B. Downs (581) north of our office):
Take Bruce B. Downs Boulevard south to the light at East 138th Avenue. Turn left onto E. 138th Avenue and then take your first right.
You will enter a construction zone. When you get to the Stop sign, go straight between the Pepin Heart Hospital and the parking garage on a brick road. Fletcher Medical Center will then be on your right.
 It's a bit complicated, but Bruce B. Downs is divided near Fletcher Medical Center and U-turns on southbound Bruce B. Downs at Fletcher Avenue are illegal.

From Brandon, Sarasota, and points south along I-75:
Take Interstate 75 north to the Fletcher Avenue exit (Exit 266), then west 4.0 miles to University Community Hospital. Just before you get to Bruce B. Downs Boulevard ...
... turn right onto the small street just past the hospital,  then a left into the Fletcher Medical Center parking lot.

From Orlando and points east, take Interstate 4 to I-75 north to the Fletcher Avenue exit (Exit 266), then west 4.0 miles to University Community Hospital. Turn right onto the small street just past the hospital, then a left into the Fletcher Medical Center parking lot (as described above).

From Ocala and points north, take Interstate 75 south to the Fletcher Avenue exit (Exit 266), then west 4.0 miles to University Community Hospital. Turn right onto the small street just past the hospital, then a left into the Fletcher Medical Center parking lot (as described above).
Alternatively, Interstate 75 south to Interstate 275, south on that to the Fletcher Avenue exit (Exit 52), then east 1.7 miles to Bruce B. Downs Boulevard (30th Street). As mentioned in the first set of directions ("From South Tampa ..."), from this direction, there is no FMC access from Fletcher Avenue, so turn left (north) on Bruce B. Downs Boulevard (30th Street), then an immediate right into Fletcher Medical Center.
As a final option, you may take I-75 to the Bruce B. Downs Boulevard exit (Exit 270), then follow the directions "From New Tampa ..."
Take the elevators to the third floor ... ... and Suite 330 will be on your left as you exit the elevators.
