The
St. Lucie County Health Department
(SLCHD)
offers
Title
10 coverage (financial
assistance) for men
who qualify based upon income and family size. |
1. Please call
772-462-3800 and express an interest in Title 10 vasectomy services.
Because of Health Department staff changes, some may be unaware of
the Title 10 vasectomy program. If you have any difficulty, please
call the office of Dr. Doug Stein, vasectomy services provider for
the SLCHD at 813-972-1365.
2. Receive vasectomy counseling and financial screening at either
the Ft. Pierce site or the Port St. Lucie site, where you will
also sign a consent for vasectomy.
3. If eligible, you will be referred to
Dr. Doug Stein who will perform your
vasectomy at the
Heron Pointe Medical Center in Vero Beach at
least 30 days after the date on which you signed your consent.

If
there are no more Title 10 funds for the current fiscal year (July 1 -
June 30), or if you do not qualify, you may still have your
vasectomy
performed by Dr. Doug Stein at the Heron
Pointe Medical Center on 37th Street in Vero Beach.
The fee is $390. |
