| The Marion County Health Department, located on the east side of town, offers Title X coverage for vasectomy services for men who qualify based upon income and family size. Enough funds are available to cover ~35 vasectomies per fiscal year (usually July 1 - June 30). A "small charge" ($0-10 depending on income) is required for the counseling session and procedures are performed by Dr. Doug Stein at the Cala Hills Family Clinic on the dates specified in his Schedule Page. | |
| Directions: From the intersection of Pine Avenue and 17th Street, take 17th Street (which turns into Maricamp Road) 2.9 miles to 24th Street. Go left on 24th Street only 0.1 mile to 32nd Avenue and turn left again. The Health Department is up that road on the right side. | |
