The Hernando County Health Department has an excellent Vasectomy Program
with Title X financial assistance for men who qualify based on income and
family size. Men who do not qualify for assistance are
also welcome to have a vasectomy at the Health Department for a fee of
$300. The only
stipulation is that, even for men who pay the full $300 fee, 2 visits
are required and there must be a 30-day interval between the
date on which a consent is signed and the date of the vasectomy. Thursday afternoon vasectomies are performed by Dr. Doug Stein every six to eight weeks. For exact dates, see Dr. Stein's Outfield Schedule Page. |

| The Spring Hill Clinic hosts vasectomy counseling services only. | At the Brooksville Clinic, Florida residents may obtain vasectomy counseling services, and vasectomies are performed every 6-8 weeks depending on demand. |
