Collier County Health Department

Collier County may have Title X vasectomy funds, which are made available on a sliding scale based upon income and family size. A candidate's first step is to call the Health Department at (239) 252-8551. If funds are available and you qualify, they will set up an appointment with a nurse for counseling and permit signing. The Health Department is located at 3301 Tamiami Trail East, Health Building, Room 205, Naples FL 34112. Patricia Gully, R.N. is the Supervisor of the Sterilization Program. Vasectomies are performed by Dr. Doug Stein at Planned Parenthood (see below). 

Although the address is Tamiami Trail (US 41), the Health Department offices are more easily approached from the entrance to the Government Center complex of offices on Airport Pulling Road, just north of the intersection of Airport Pulling and Tamiami Trail.

Dr. Doug Stein is the vasectomy provider for the Collier County Health Department, and he performs vasectomies on a regular basis at the Planned Parenthood clinic in Naples. For those not receiving assistance under Title X, the fee is $490.
